The new season of the world's most popular league, the Premier League, is starting from today. London club Arsenal will play newcomer Brentford in the opening game of the Premier League 2021-22.

The game will start at 12:45 pm Nepali time. Arsenal, who finished eighth last season, will not be in European competition this time around.

Arsenal's goal is to stay in the top four in the new season and be selected in the Champions League next season.

Brentford, promoted to the Premier League for the first time, will be the 50th club to play in the Premier League and the 10th in London.

Similarly, there will be 7 games in the Premier League on Saturday. Former runners-up Manchester United will play Leeds, while Liverpool will travel to Norwich.

Chelsea will play Crystal Palace and Leicester will play Wolves at home. There will also be games between Burnley and Brighton, Everton and Southampton and Watford and Astle Villa on Saturday.

Former champions Manchester City will play Tottenham Hotspur in the first leg on Sunday. The next game is between Newcastle and West Ham on Sunday.

Chelsea, United and Liverpool are expected to challenge City in the title race. Similarly, Arsenal and Tottenham are also in the 'Big Sisk'. Apart from winning the title in the Premier League, there will be a lot of competition to be in the top four.
