 Due to the continuously and heavy rainfall , Flood and landslides is increasing in Nepal.




Many places of Nepal are in huge trouble especially sindhupalchowk.

Despite being at high risk during the rainy season every year, no attention has been paid to sustainable risk reduction. Also "Gaighat Bazaar is at high risk of floods due to lack of strong embankments to control the river," said Shib Bahadur Karki, a local. 

He also added something : He said that the risk of Gaighat market has remained the same as no body has been able to reduce the risk so far.

Flood in melamchi cause huge loss of people property. More than hundred of houses are taken away by flood.
People are facing a lot of problems in this situation. 

In interview with the local people near melamchi bazaar , Most of the people of that area build their house through bank loan. Now they are worried how to clear that loan as well as they are so much worried about their children as their is no house and no place to stay. Most of the people at that area are staying in School.

While taking interview with the people , they told that they didn't sleep up to two nights. They were worried as flood will increase or not.
