Mark Zuckerberg stated that he wanted Facebook to go from a social media platform to a "metaverse platform."











In late June, Mark Zuckerberg told Facebook employees that the social network will launch an ambitious mission at the center of Metaverse.

 Mark Zuckerberg said that he hopes to transform Facebook from a social media company into a "meta festival company" Zuckerberg told employees that Facebook will focus more on creating a successor to the Internet. At the end of June, Mark Zuckerberg notified Facebook employees that the social network would launch an ambitious mission at the center of Metaverse. Although the instruction looks like a science fiction movie, the announcement has a major impact on the future and may be closer to reality than you think. Metaverse is essentially a three-dimensional Internet that includes the physical world and the virtual world. Many people use it for video games or virtual reality, and most technology companies think this is the next big thing that happens on the Internet at some point.
At the same time, according to Zuckerberg, Metaverse will provide huge opportunities for individual creators and artists; people who work far away from modern urban centers and want to own houses; and people who live in places with more limited educational or entertainment opportunities. He said that an understandable meta-universe might be a better alternative to the work transfer device. With the help of the company's Oculus division, which produces Quest headsets, Facebook is trying to develop them.
